Well done to Ayton Castle Curling Club who won the Tweedmouth Kettle on Saturday. They beat Earlston Curling Club in a very entertaing final, after overcoming Duns and Swinton in the semi-finals. In the winning rink were James Dixon, Alison Johnston, Peter Brewis, husband and wife Keith and Gwen Prentice and family trio of Bruce, Suzanne and Kayla Porteous. Kayla will be one of the youngest winners in the long history of this competition - perhaps youngest ever......?
